As part of our ‘Make Scouting Visible’ initiative, 12 of our leaders volunteered at Longton Junior Parkrun this morning. The leaders took on various roles including marshalling, timekeeping and funnel managing. Luckily we managed to avoid the rain and were able to ensure that all particpants got around the course safely. Congratulations to all 37 juniors who completed the Parkrun and thanks to all the leaders who volunteered. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a team together to volunteer again soon.
